Why CAAYAL Exists

India is one of the world's great centres of fashion and jewellery making, yet the artisans behind so much of what we wear are rarely seen, rarely credited, and rarely celebrated. CAAYAL was born from that contradiction.

We created CAAYAL as a project with a purpose: to shine a light on the extraordinary skill of Indian artisans, and to build a brand where they are not just suppliers, but the heart of everything we do.

How We Make

Every piece in our collection is handmade. Not mass-produced, not factory-line, not rushed. Handmade, in small batches, by skilled craftspeople who have honed their art over generations. 

We work exclusively with fair trade workshops across India, so you can be certain that every artisan behind your jewellery is paid fairly and works in safe, dignified conditions.

Why It Matters

At CAAYAL, we believe fashion is for everyone, but we also believe that how fashion is made matters just as much as how it looks. Choosing to buy from a small, independent business is a political act. It's a vote for a different kind of economy: one that values people over profit margins, craft over convenience, and longevity over disposability.

We champion slow, conscious fashion. Our pieces are made to be worn, loved, and kept, not discarded after a season.

Giving Back

10% of all profits is reinvested directly into artisan communities. Because those who make us shine deserve to be celebrated and supported.
